ModCraft is pleased to announce our latest tile design “Roundhouse”- is named after the stunning Roundhouse at Beacon Falls- a Rockwell Group designed restaurant, boutique hotel, wedding & event space, that recently opened here in ModCraft’s hometown of Beacon, NY, 60 miles north of New York City in the Hudson Valley.
Roundhouse’s owner, Bob McAlpine, had the vision to see that this modern tile style would be a perfect match for his hospitality suites. Roundhouse tile is made of durable Porcelain clay, available in 16 colors and measures 3 x 12 inches. It has a slight dimensionality whereby it raises slightly at each corner giving it a concave shape and creating an overall dynamic pattern when installed. The tile is also widest at the center and tapers just slightly toward the ends. Here Roundhouse is shown in our new glaze Stannic- an elegant dark chrome finish with oxidized metal highlights and iridescent greens/blues appearing on some edges. A very rich combination of effects, tones and reflections.
